A former family services specialist in Nevada developed chronic, painful conditions, including cervical and lumbar disc disease and cervical radiculopathy, and ultimately had to stop working. Long Term Disability benefits were initially approved, but after two years The Standard terminated the claim, cutting off a primary source of income.
