Hypertension
An outside sales representative from California was forced out of work due to the severity of his hypertension. He received Long Term Disability benefits without interruption for more than ten years until Guardian abruptly stopped issuing monthly payments.

However, the physician had completed many physicians’ statements in the past stating their patient’s vision loss was permanent and would only continue to progress.
